Yes, a 5.56 nato round can decapitate and or cut you in half!
No, if 1 round is fired, but if enough rounds are fired in a concentrated area then yes it could do 1 or both as he described.
I guess Vietnam m16 wasn't deadly as it didn't have the adjustability he described also?

If I remember correctly, when the M16 was adopted in the Vietnam War, it's job was not to kill, but to wound. It would take 3 / 4 soldiers to carry the wounded from the battle, taking them from the fight. Also soldiers could carry more ammo, as the 5.56 was lighter round.

Oh yeah, it's real. i cut a nice oak down with a 1919A4 one time. cut several down over the years some on purpose and some not. these two fell victims from a 300 blackout shooting session.
