The Marlin 336 Dark is a lot cleaner looking than say, the Mossberg 464 SPX which looks like someone busted off the stock and taped an adjustable AR stock in its place.

I like the wood and blue,but the 336 dark would look better after a season of wet brush hunting.

My 70 model Marlin 336C 30-30 has a 3.5 LB trigger with crisp break. I would like one of those slings though.
