Mass Gov Maura Healey pushes new restrictions

Another example of a worthless state legislature. Everybody bemoans the rise of dictatorial powers of the executive yet still elects simpleton state reps and senators. In some ways Texas is the same. The legislature hid while restrictions went on and on without being called back into session. A bill was introduced a few years ago, HJR 42, which would require the legislature be recalled within 30 days of an emergency. It never made it out of committee. In Texas they are in session for only a few months. They pass laws, turn it over to agency heads who may or may not be worth a darn, go home and pat themselves on the back. Pathetic.

99.9% of all Gov. employees live to say "NO". Inside each and every one is a little tyrant clawing to get out.
Everyone in Mass and most of New England knew what Maura Healey was about before she got elected. No big surprise. This is why Emergency Powers laws in every state NEED a massive overhaul. That will never happen because (again) Inside each and every one is a little tyrant clawing to get out.

here in the North East, we have morons that full throttle are Dumbocratic voters, and DO NOT like change, so they keep re-electing them over and over...

it is rare a Republican gets elected.

but we that are either Republican or unaffiliated (independant) voters, try our best to elect the Republican candidate.

but here, the population is hard core anti 2A, and the whiff of any anti 2A legislation gives them woodies.
