Masterpiece Arms Unveils World Class DS9 Hybrid Pistols

STI’s 2011’s patent must be expired. I wish another 1911 manufacturer would make a stacatto type 2011. I am sure @Rob Leatham could find a use for an ultra high cap 1911 to thow in the mix. I know I could use one.

Nice looking gun but I'm not a competitive shooter, if I was going to spend that much on a gun it would be on a single stack 1911 that I could use as a EDC gun.

Yes they are nice guns I was looking at them right before I got on here yesterday. Do they have one in 40 S&W I did see that they had mags for the 40 S&W but the guns I was looking at were all in 9mm.

Competition is healthy within a capitalist economy. I do not envision the DS9 as competition.

Double-stack 1911-A1s, not that the DS9 is a 1911-A1, are heresy. The few manufacturers who committed double stack heresy were shipped to Spain for inquisition ;-) They've been accused of other pagan activities.

Life's stressful enough as it is, and it's becoming more stressful, which requires a sense of humor to mitigate stress.

I'm a 1911-A1 traditionalist with room for flexibility; e.g., beaver tail grip safety. Hammer bites suck. No hammer bites with a beaver tail. The irony is I wish I has a SA Mil Spec. The 191-A1 was and remains the best battle handgun ever designed. It has to be the most recognized handgun in the world.
