Mexico ….. succumbed to the pressure

Gotta love it. Venezuela has agreed to take back their thugs, Panama’s agreed to break off their ties with China, and now Mexico is willing to help control the border👍. And it’s all because of a “No more BS” policy. All of this in three weeks-and it would have happened long ago IF we’d had a leader.

2nd was mexico stepping up, even if they have a hard row to hoe
if they would stop the invaders at their southern border?
panama....yippee.

even if dont or do like the the new guy in charge...he sure is moving things along that were always there to be moved with the right set of attitudes and leaders in positions state department is AWESOME

Some of us knew that the whole time and predicted the outcome we are seeing now. Personally I think we should use tariffs or some form of financial coercion to force Mexico to keep their BS south of the border, but the Canada thing was just stupid. Apparently he got Trudeau to agree to do something to stop fentanyl and illegal aliens from coming down from Canada. Less than 1% of either of those things comes from Canada. If he's trying to renegotiate NAFTA again then he should say that.

China ? We should be hitting them with much higher tariffs than he imposed. Yeah, lots of stuff will get more expensive and there will be short term pain, but we should have done it decades ago. It has to stop. I remember when I was a union carpenter the general consensus was we were all willing to pay a little more for American, Union made products. Those same unions and many of the same people are now whining to anyone who will listen about how tariffs on China will hurt farmers or make it where people can't afford the crap they buy from Walmart or wherever.

Not an issue if you’re a billionaire but it will hurt the middle and lower class of Americans.

The country had sub-2% COL interest rates during his first term "with" tariffs", and POTUS 46 kept them in place, but grossly increased the money supply through deficits which is the real cause of price increases.

A dollar bill has lost 60% of it's value of the last 19 yrs. & more before that since starting with Bush #2 fed govt spending has gone thru the roof.

If you don't like the price increase for a "Made in China" product don't buy it. So the tariff has no effect on you. Problem solved.

The US needs to being a lot of technology manufacturing home. We can't depend on Asian clients or Indian clients to make our super sophisticated stuff. There's just too much money to be thrown their way to give our enemies our tech.
China's been infiltrating our universities for decades stealing our intellectual property for decades. AND it has paid off for them.
