Midway's "Birthday" pricing.

I got an email from Midway recently telling me that since my birthday is coming up they were giving me 7 days to take advantage of special birthday pricing which would be reflected on the sales page of whatever items it covered. Nice I thought. Of course it doesn't apply to ammo, but...

So I go there and I see the birthday pricing above certain items that I'm looking at. It's the same pricing as everyone else gets though. I know this because I logged out of the system and checked the prices from my phone without being logged into my account.

Furthermore the "Special" prices were generally higher than I could get the same item from PSA or PA.

Not complaining really. I mean whatever. Just goes to show how things get marketed.

The price drop sometimes happens when you add to cart. Birthday pricing from Midway USA typically excludes certain products. I bought a bunch of IWI ammo and AR parts the past 2 years from Midway at roughly 30% to 40% off with birthday pricing.

Tried that. It says in the email that prices are reflected on the sale pages. And it doesn't change when I put it in the cart.

Wow. At least 3 of you guys need to re-read my opening post.

Yes I logged in.
Yes my price on that was $105-$110.
Yes I just picked that item at random to test.
No every single item doesn't say "Birthday pricing" on it.
No the price doesn't change when I put it in my cart.
