'It Could Be Very Hard to Do Our Job': Top Military Officers Brace for Trump's Potential Loyalty Review Boards

The Wall Street Journal reported on a draft executive order that is under consideration by the Trump transition team that would establish a so-called "warrior board," to review top generals over whether they should continue service or not.

if you read the article its RICH, on what some of these "leaders" are saying
keeping politics out of the military...well i served under reagan, clinton, old bush and little bush
politics were always part of the run, reagan loved us, clinton mandated us, old bush was lost a few times, little bush ...welll i shall remain
looks like the "promotions" to top leader over the years created a bunch of safe space warriors worried about who likes them
Leaders lead, followers worry about who likes them.
great leaders have great followers.
anyway thats my rant for thursday

Thank you Chief for your post. The headline 'It Could Be Very Hard to Do Our Job': brought back the thoughts that they didn't know what their job was or if they knew what the job was they didn't know how to do it. If there is a war we don't want to send the pronoun people, led by leaders that are more concerned with political correctness than a healthy supply of ammo. A strong military prevents war!

i had a few of those thoughts as well..while reading it..

its a different time now for those on active duty for certain...would be nice if a few of us OLD guard got called back to hold some training and leadership events.

Yes, I agree. I think more seasoned vets would be a good resource, even us older guys. We still have a lot to offer albeit not in a physical way anymore. That oath we took a long time ago (1967) didn't have an expiration date.
