I have been in the bays next door and you can feel the "burp" it makes.

I shot one of them backpack models one time for a very short burst. i believe it shoots 3000 RPM.

I'm up to page 405, and the Minigun story has just started.

Dillon is an awesome read. For you Skeeter Skelton fans, it's very much like Good Friends, Good Guns, Good Whiskey, but with Warbirds and machine guns. Well worth the $35 admission, although a friend on another forum sent me mine for free.

I have it on good authority that Air Base Defense cops in RVN had salvaged a few of those from damaged helucopters and mounted them on patrol jeeps. They were not authorized so they had to be hidden when inspectors came around. You can make a jeep disappear in a conex, so I heard.
