The pop-up windows on each subforum describe the topics that are supposed to be discussed. Those are the 'rules". I don't see cartoons listed on any of the descriptions of the "technical" subforums.

But "The Lounge" says...All the off-topic things you'd like to discuss — in one place. Originally all the music & joke stuff was posted there until the last few months.

Posting cartoons in the "technical" subforms have nothing to do, & contribute nothing to, the the discussions about Gear, EDC, Guns, Survival, Hunting, Survival & Reloading.

I suggest that "we" elevate this issue to the Mods & Administrators, who are in charge, to decide if this Forum sticks to the "listed" content intended for the "technical" subforums.

I want to post & discuss "gun, etc. stuff" in the technical subforums vs. having posts polluted by multiple cartoons, etc. that contribute nothing to the defined topics.

Have at it in "The Lounge", but if the Mods & Administration wants this Forum to be a "free for all" then they should say it.

You do what you feel is right, nobody else has said anything about the gifs, killerford was just giving me and Simon a hard time if you read what he said, you have always had some kind of issue with me and my posts, no biggie, we all have opinions. I’ll make it easier for you, I’ll just stop posting period that way no conflicts between us. So for me I’ll end this on a good note.

How about we add a sub forum for members who bring nothing but negative or critical comments rather than chastising folks who enjoy spending time together on the forum. Why does everything have to be a dispassionate, humorless conversation. You need to check yourself.

I direct members to the Members tab. The stats say it all. IMHO without Annihilator's contributions this forum would become a dry and dusty place. I look forward to the posts of those who seek information and appreciate those who freely share their knowledge. No one should be made to feel browbeaten about his or her opinions.
