I suspect it is/was a fishing expedition. They are suing the state of Missouri over the SAPA, to which our governor and AG told them to pound sand. They were threatened with withholding federal funds and we told them to pound sand. I think they just wanted to see if they would get cooperation from any Missouri Sheriffs.Thanks.
I just fired off a copy of that to & asked my state AG if those audits were going to happen in my state.
My states' AG stands up against that crap.I suspect it is/was a fishing expedition. They are suing the state of Missouri over the SAPA, to which our governor and AG told them to pound sand. They were threatened with withholding federal funds and we told them to pound sand. I think they just wanted to see if they would get cooperation from any Missouri Sheriffs.
This lawsuit is going to be interesting too. The crux of it is whatever the clause is that says the US constitution trumps state constitutions. Though nothing in the SAPA is unconstitutional. They will argue federal law trumps state law. Which will open up every single state with legalized marijuana and every state, county or city with Immigration sanctuary laws.
My states AG is PART of this crap.My states' AG stands up against that crap.
So is mine (WI).My states AG is PART of this crap.
Mine is currently running for Governor (D), and was a main proponent that pushed for the "Ghost Gun / Receiver" ruling the ATF recently implemented. I'll definitely get no "This is an outrage" letter back from him.My states' AG stands up against that crap.
I’m nj where ccw was hugely restricted. It was next to impossible to get a permit. After the scotus ruling our politicians along with the AG’s office were actively promoting how they’d stand in the way at every possible step.So is mine (WI).
He won the republican primary for Roy Blunt's seat handily. Which means he's virtually guaranteed to win it in November. He sued schools who violated the state law against mask mandates and ushered the SAPA into law and has steadfastly supported it. I hope our next AG is as much of a bulldog as he is.Mr. Schmitt possesses an uncanny ability to identify and expound the truth. We need more people with conviction like his in office.
The great people of Missouri should be honored to have him.He won the republican primary for Roy Blunt's seat handily. Which means he's virtually guaranteed to win it in November.
I thought long and hard about that before getting my CCDW permit but at the time was working an armed security job.Well if nothing else it’s another reason not to bother with a CCW permit in a Constitutional Carry state.
My state would roll out the red carpet for that !Thanks.
I just fired off a copy of that to & asked my state AG if those audits were going to happen in my state.
