Monroe-Chester Sportsman Club(Range Day)

Dusted off my Smith & Wesson 1911 and went to my club. Range was empty and cold. Once I got the heat working I put some rounds down range. I shot about 150rds at 10 yds. I would like to start hitting the range at least once a week. Let’s see what the New Year brings. Also got to try out my Peltor Electronic Ears with blue-tooth. I was able to listen to music as I shoot.

I have a few pair of axil gs extreme with bt, but haven't tried them out when shooting yet. you can enhance audio up to 6x also. Auto noise shutoff at 85db and up.

It’s a private club. One of the best in the NYC area. Honestly most of the time it is empty. It’s open 24 hrs a day. Mostly Old timers. They are in and out early. I usually go after 3pm and the place is empty. That’s indoor and outdoor. Also remember this is New York and it is hard to get a pistol permit here.

Wow, it seems ranges in NYC could be ghost towns at times. I'm glad you got in some private practice. That's very consistent shooting at 10 yards. Nice. I've made that my goal. When I can get big ragged holes like that, then I'll push my distance out a little farther. I've been trying to go once a week too. Thanks for sharing your fun.
