Montana Senator Seeks Protections for Traveling Gun Owners

The Libertarians here keep wasting their votes which allows our Democrat Senator to keep squeaking in every time.

And it's nothing unusual... I think all the gun issues will bring voters out. I can see a lot of changes.

Only problem is Americans are forgetful. Memory of six month max. So we, you, me, us all have to make
sure that 10 months from now they remember what is going on now and react to it appropriately.

That's how we just ended up with a dem governor again. The Libertarian votes took 1.9% of the votes away from the incumbent Republican governor, allowing the dem to squeak by and win.

Could be but if I were a betting man I'd say that's not the cause. I'll bet there are at least 10% of GOP voters
that could have but didn't show up at the polls. If not 10, at least 2%. We do a lot of the shooting ourselves
in the foot stuff!

The defeated Republican governor had a recount done. The numbers showed the 1.9% Libertarian votes. We also had a large contingent of teachers (predominately dems) across the state who rallied against the governor. However, weird that basically the top 5 offices below the gov remain Repub, including the AG switching from Blue to Red (due to votes) but the gov job went blue. Hopefully, having a Repub AG and State Treasurer will help keep things under control. The new dem gov already had a bunch of anti-2A bills ready to submit. Trying to follow suit and copy Northam's bs in Virginia.

A state-wide analysis showed that in MT 99% of Democrats always vote the party-line no matter what or who is running. I swear they'd vote for a convicted serial killer on death row if a person like that was their candidate.

We had a popular candidate for Sheriff here who wouldn't change from a Democrat to an Independent to run against the Democrat (no Repub) because it was the family way to always vote Democrat. So the Democrat won.

Then the Libertarians here always vote for some character that resembles Ted Kaczynski, or looks like they've lived in a bear cave and just crawled out.

Folks have to rally together and squash it before it gets traction.....

Most times it can seem impossible, but just have to keep chipping away, surely will lose if we give up.

I believe that is part of their strategy, which is to hammer us non-stop with BS regs, rallies, investigations, etc, until we throw our hands up and give in. They're bullies with an anti-America agenda, hell-bent on destroying every facet of freedom this country was founded on and was fought for.

It isn't just the USA - it's global. Witness the "environment" - multiple people have now admitted (the latest being a member of the UN!) that the "green" movement isn't about saving the planet, but about destroying capitalism. These are the same Democrats who are trying to revoke our gun rights - just another facet of their agenda is all.

A recent article, and not even from a political site:

My opinion is the Constitution is our Federal license to Carry. States don't even have a pony in that race.
They have absolutely no authority to register or regulate. Federal needs to insure states know that.
Citizens need to teach the states what infringing is. It's either that or gather up all our firearms and lay
them up on the State Capitol's Steps.
Am in inferring a direct armed confrontation. NO! How about all of those of us quit filing taxes. Can't round
us all up. Not if it's 50 million. Idea, yeah, stupid, maybe.... I'm sure those amongst us could come up with
a great idea.
