More Illinois Lunacy

It seems to be continuation of the Department of Education school discipline guidelines released in 2014.
It reduced the consequences for school behavioral problems.
That policy failed.
Letting troubled kids stay in school with no record of juvenile arrests will also allow those kids to pass a background check with the recent changes to include juvenile records in background checks for 18–21-year-old firearms purchasers.

2000-2009 school shootings 68
2010-2019 school shootings 230 (just 5 years of the new Department of education guidelines)
2020-2022 so far school shootings 75 (at the current rate that would total ~375 by 2029)

Having escaped from Illinois in 2013, I am always concerned when my wife goes back to the Chicago area to visit her father. I don't feel comfortable until I know she is on that flight home. If you read the whole list of offenses that will not require bail. It will put a cold chill down your back. Chicago is out of control, and it makes "Escape from New York" look like "The Sound of Music", Still the toughest state in America to obtain the ever-popular FOID card.Which permits you to obtain a firearm. The insanity in the mayors "Summer of Joy" continues.
 
Not to bring "people of color as they wish to be known", when beetlejuice and the now cook county president preckwinkle ran for mayor they wanted to eliminate the gang data base, because it contained too many minorities.
They fired a white police superintendent and hired a black one crime is still rampant.
When police do their job the cook county attorney Kim Foxx releases them before the ink is dry on the police report.
Just look at Jussie Smollet as one example.
Now governor flintstone is in lock step with beetlejuice release the criminals on January first and I believe the Republican candidate for governor doesn't have a chance against the governors personal fortune.
Pray for those that can't leave Chicago.
 
Moved away in 1985 and left a somewhat viable/logical state even though Chicago was the big dog. At that time the separation from our families was hard but as we continued to return to see family, we became more comfortable and eventually thankful for our change. When I do return now I visit a small town in S. Ill which is not like larger areas but the decay (while slower) is noticeable with my visits. As I now look at Illinois I see a very overtaxed state that has extremely under represented residents.

That is beyond comprehension and reprehensible. Coddle to the criminals and prosecute law abiding citizens who protect themselves because they just want to live in peace. What a very sad country this is becoming.

Also , if a person is in front of your house creating a disturbance ( yelling and screaming , banging pans together , etc ... ) the police can only write that person a ticket. They can't make the person leave. Trespassing you say .... just another ticket.

If you have a shed in your back yard and find someone has moved into it , the police will write them a ticket but can't make them leave. It would be left up to you to decide what level of force could be used to remove the person from your property.

This has the potential to become a free for all. I also can see a lot of innocent people getting in trouble because they don't know the use of force laws in this state. :mad:

What is sad that the liberals need to buy votes by their socialist programs.
They gave away gift cards to get covid shots, willie wilson gave gas cards to those on the south side,and magically the budget is balanced, we are getting real estate rebate, gas became a little cheaper and now all the little darlings will be released on January 1st and all this is happening just before governor flintstone is running for re-election.

Simply put, a small group of people, usually 30% or less of the population laser focus all attention on a small point (like 'people in jail are oppressed'). With enough repetition and noise, the masses get tunnel vision excluding any and all facts. The 'non-believers' are quickly dispatched. This is how many bad things get started. WW I was started by the assassination of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Hitler and Stalin got started in a similar way. The George Floyd killing and COVID are current events examples in addition to the one under discussion.

Beetlejuice and governor flintstone are upset with Governor Abbott, so they are sending the illegals to suburban cities that have Republican Mayors and the state is paying, or I should say "we" are paying the hotel bill.
 
Those of us in Greater Illinois (all of the state except for 2 or 4 counties depending on fraud counts) are not concerned. We do not consider Chiraq part of the state. They are a foreign entity and enemy of the Free People. Let them kill themselves. The only part that makes me sad is that will add a lot of voters to the roles.

We are all 2nd ammendment sanctuary counties and Trap Shooting is the number 1 High School sport even now surpassing football.

We will handle our business like we always have. The sherif and prosecuter will be charging a lot of people with first degree attempted murder. Hey that guy in the shed was planning to kill me.

Plus we still have A LOT of hog lots.
