More SIGs for the Collection

Well, I headed to the LGS yesterday to pick up the two SIG pistols I asked them to hold back in January after then buying the SIG P226 XFIVE Reserve pistol. These 2 are the P229 Legion w/ Enclosed Romeo X Pro circle dot (my first P229), and another P226 with the MK25 model (this making 5 P226s, 6 if I count the AREX Zero 1 clone). Back in January, I also ordered (through LGS which gives a discount), an Enclosed Romeo X Compact Circle Dot for my P365 XMacro Comp, but that still hasn't come in. It's out of stock on the SIG site, but I see them on Amazon, Optics Planet, and elsewhere, so not sure what the hold up is. I'd like to say this will be it for a while as a large Tax bill came my way, but knowing me, I'll probably get enticed by some shiny new bauble the LGS sends my way

Quite honestly Hans, I wasn't really knowledgeable about the MK25's background when I saw it in the counter next to the P229 Legion I was eyeing. The manager gave me a brief history of it, so I told him to hold it for me. According to the Sig website, it looks to be still available (at least it's still listed on there)

I’ve had one for 10-15 years…I love it. Was house gun for quite some time…it positively loved Winchester Ranger-T 127+P+.

Some Legion and Mk25 goodness there! Although my EDC and all around favorite is a P220, The P226 format is my favorite 9mm platform. I have carried SIGS for many years and they will never let you down.

Thanks HG. I have 2 P220s, a used 45 Equinox the LGS gave me a good deal on and a 10mm Hunter model I bought new that I don't know if they even offer that model anymore (picture below). Love the look with the Kryptec coating on it.
