An armed home invader was left in critical condition after allegedly breaking into the wrong person's home in North Carolina on Tuesday.
According to the Mount Airy Police Department, they responded to a residence after receiving a call about a shooting around 4:19 pm, WFMY reported.

I hope Andy gives Barney more than one bullet tonight :)

Am I to understand this clown was shot in the neck with a shotgun and wasn't DRT? Or did the homeowner access his shotgun after the initial shooting and post up in the front yard afterwards? Not sure I would want to be standing with a firearm when Barney showed up to a reported shooting. I remember several years ago that a fellow veteran shot a home invader and then went and waited outside his home for the police to arrive and when they did they promptly shot him dead as he had a gun in his hand. But that was in Denver.
