moving blanket shooting mat

Professional
My wife finally had enough of me destroying the shooting mats with twigs and mud, then not being able to wash them in a machine.
so she says how about a thick moving blanket, its light, washable in the machine and rolls up small?
SO i say lets try it, so she sewed up the edges, except at bottom to allow for added foam maybe
and a strap to hold the bi pod at the top so i can press in to hold rifle better
had planned a range day, but its raining now. maybe thursday ??
bottom line, 30 dollar thick moving blanket folded long wise for my tallness and its comfy on the old ribs even on concrete
going to spray it with some water repellent for ground contact side
we shall see

i had bought 3 of them from Harbor Freight

i cannot find any one of them. once the wife gets hold of something, it's a goner....

i think this one is from home depot, i have a few in a big yellow box
i figure if it gets damaged no big deal.
our range rifle line is concrete or concrete tables , so this will be mucho better.

length is important to me, being 6 3 with a wingspan of a pterodactyl

Had some movers pads from UHaul, these were heavier and sturdier (but tend to disappear) than the big china box store ones. Also, I bought a small 8x10 tarp waterproof to drape over the motorcycle, not the slippery blue/silver cheapie but a dark moss green with a no-slip dark gray back side. I think it’s made for a tent floor or sleeping bag.

we use those "cheaper" blue ones here, to cover our cars before an ice storm, or other snow event hits.

makes for easier snow removal, just yank the tarp off the cars...

those heavier ones for tents and such, are like 100 times heavier with ice/snow on them for us to pull.
