Picked up a Springfield Armory Mil Spec 1911 in 45 acp, on line from SA for a nice price a few years ago. I am really enjoying it.
Also found a replica WWII style holster for it.

Nice, in the Guns section of this forum, we have a thread, show off your 1911, go ahead and post your pic of your Mil spec there also if you like, a bunch of us have posted our 1911’s there. I like the holster you got for it, really like the US marking.

How can anyone say the 1911 isn't a pretty pistol? Colt Combat Commander was my first semi auto pistol and I have liked 1911s of any kind since. One of these days before I die I hope to own a SA Ronin.
