My first Crossbow

This is the very first crossbow to be sold to the public. i got this for a christmas present when i was about 13 or 14, i am 68 now so i've had it many years. it's a Whamo powermaster, it was only 80 pounds pull. even have the original wooden arrows and quiver that came with it.

Another vintage crossbow, i have killed deer with this one.

That's neat. It looks well cared for. The bolts (arrows) look to be in great shape as well.

Don't remember shooting those broadheads much, think it came with some practice arrows too. those have been long gone. I need to get it out and wipe it down.

Nice, i renember those. Guess i am am archery snob I have always been against them being used during archery season personally. I think that muzzleloading and crossbows should perhaps have thier own "primitive" separate season. I just do not see crossbows as archery or crossbowmen as archers.

Agree, unless you have a medical condition or are too old to pull back a bow.
