My First E-file Form 4 Approved Today

Yay my first e-file was approved today. I was guinea pig, to train everyone on the process. This was also the first Silencershop efile through the kiosk. Now at the time the fingerprinter was acting up. So this was efiled form, but mailed fingerprints. I am sure glad we now have 90 day approval’s since I have 3 more in the que. Yankee Hill R9. Next I need to find a Wolverine and a Griffin Optimus Micro.

How long to them approve ?

I’m on 9 months and counting with ATF permits.. 4 more suppressors since Jan

Edit: i see March 8 … 8 months on a “90 day efile”…

Have none in possession

Neither on 2x SBR permits

Yet I have 4 permits / stamps from 2020-21, so how much more background do they need for me

The whole process is stupid and inefficient. IMO, suppressors shouldn’t even be on the NFA list. Not a firearm, just an accessory. Even being on the list, it shouldn’t take this long. You can get a BGC in 10 minutes at a LGS and walk out with a firearm. No way it should take 7+ months to run a BGC and approve an NFA item. As far as I know, the eligibility requirements aren’t any different between them.
