Great choice. You will enjoy shooting that gun.
Some guys on this forum say after buying a 1911 they tend to propagate on there own,
I say that happens with any Springfield Armory handguns.
One is never enough.

Great looking firearm, can't go wrong with a SA XD anything, quality handguns. I keep my XD

45 in my nightstand, it's my go to home defense handgun.
