Building an RV port for my daughter. I have built 8 buildings like this one but it's not as easy as it used to be. The manlift is a great help. Now I need Spiderman to put the roofing on
I've built several steel, quonset hut type buildings, garages and carports. Usually not stick built though. They come in pieces and you loosely bolt the ribs together and then stand them up in channels bolted to concrete pads. The thing about those is you need to get all the bolts in the ribs before you erect them, but you can't tighten them or the ribs will not fit together. So when you're done you still have to spiderman all over the top of it tightening the bolts while someone is following you from the underside holding the other end of the bolts with a wrench. It's a pain in the ass. Almost easier to build a roof the way you're doing it.Building an RV port for my daughter. I have built 8 buildings like this one but it's not as easy as it used to be. Fortunately I have some young folks helping who don't mind running up and down ladders. Mrs Greener says I should just sit under a shade tree and give instructions but I am not quite THAT old yetI applaud you energy, Hayes!
