what is this netting..??? does it have an opening that you shoot thru, then it catches the brass..???

That's a Caldwell brass catcher. the opening is the part facing you. but i don't use that anymore. it has plastic frames that hold it up and they get weak and sag. i bought a Graco brass catcher. this thing is nice. i made a little stand for it to use on a bench. it's made to put on a camera stand. It folds flat and has metal braces.

looking at the size of that monster, it might be a wee bit too big for the shooting ports at my 2 indoor shooting places.

i'd need something more "compact".

but, i can see where you have an outdoor range, so you certainly do have more room to work with.

but, i will still check out Graco.....!!!!
