Wife doesn’t ask for much. She’s been due a new car for a while. I let her keep her 7 passenger Explorer and bought her a new toy for our anniversary. 2021 Doge Challenger R/T Hemi Shaker…

Built in track tuner for push button switching between performance and daily driving. Launch control (electronic stall converter for us old schoolers) for high rpm launch. Built in 0-60 timer (which I was able to pull 5.2 sec in daily driver mode and traction control left on). Performance/Track mode, there isn’t enough rubber on the road. She just spins on launch.

She loves it. I’m sure I’ll get to drive it once in a while.

Very nice indeed I like the colour she's a lucky lady,If you wanted even more power how about these guys?

Very lucky lady.
No need for more power in fact I don’t understand the need for all that unless your going to run the car on a track. The roads are designed for travel not racing.
Also be very careful those cars are VERY high on the list for theft as Dodge cars are susceptible to a glitch in the electronics that allow for them to be unlocked and started without keys or key fob.

You gotta look at what you said there. The same argument anti-gunners use against us. You don't "need" all that. It's not about "need" 🤣😂

Tell your wife congrats, the Challenger is my favorite car, love the R/T version. One question, is it the 5.7 or 6.2 hemi regular aspirated, with the shaker hood, you could get either motor, again awesome car, tell her enjoy

I didn't need a 428 cobra jet , with hotter cam , better intake , and bigger Holly carb , in my 1978 3/4 ton Ford 4x4 either but it sure was fun.

When you get right down to it any small 4 cyl. non turbo will get the job of transportation done. For many , such as myself , that just doesn't satisfy.
