I really like these for deep carry of a spare mag for a deep carry pistol, and/or back-up.

Bought one a few months ago, and they are convenient. They're well-made, however (imo), the mfrs need to smooth-off/round-over the length-wise edges of the [very sturdy] pocket clip a bit to remove the harsh 90º edge. Over time it could/might cause premature/excessive wear on pants material. Just my two cents worth. It's still a good product though.

It recommends using it as the sole occupant of your pocket. Which to me negates it’s usefulness unless you’re wearing baggy pants with deep pockets. My guess is it’s well made and useful in specific situations, but it wouldn’t cut it for EDC for me personally.

I've hardly used it, and it is stored with unused holsters. Good point on the # of items in the pocket, and pocket size. I normally wear Carhartt jeans, and the front pocket openings are not that large/wide, plus the pockets are not real deep to begin with, as compared to say purpose-built "tactical" pants.

I rarely if ever wear loose fitting pants. I always carry spare mags and even though I have several mag holsters I almost never use any of them. I can grab it out of my weak side front pocket faster than fumbling around with a holster. And I got enough **** hanging off my belt.

I think the Neomag would work well in cargo pants or sweatsuit pants or most shorts.

I agree with the recommendation about it being the only thing in your pocket. I have one and will regularly knock the magazine loose when reaching for my keys, which gets annoying. Half the time I don't use it because of that reason.

I agree that if the only thing in a pocket that's best. IMO it's a niche item for a specific size of mag.

I only have a spare set of keys in my weak side pocket, and use the NeoMag for the small PM9 mag so there's no interferance.
