Nespresso Capsule System

Anyone else own and enjoy the Nespresso capsule coffee and espresso system? Ours was gifted to us nearly four years ago. Since then, unlike many of the Keurig varieties, we've not had one bad, stale, bitter cup of coffee. Fine products. However, I'd be even more pleased if they were to replace the current pitch-person with a human being; I just can't tolerate that clown. . .
Cheers!

My wife has looked at them in the past but since I only drink coffee in my canteen during hunting season she cannot justify the cost of a new machine. She uses a Kuerig with refillable filters. I grind enough beans every morning when I get up and fill two filters and the water with enough for two cups.

She seems satisfied.

I've been drinking Maxwell House for as long as I can remember. Guess I'll just stick with it for a few more years.
i agree, but we have Chock Full O' Nuts coffee...

and an ordinary non-binary, non transgender, non rainbow, Mr. Coffee....pour water in, turn on switch, brew coffee, drip into pot, drink.

i don't really like new fangled gizmos, that serve up my foods or coffee...

next thing you know, they'll come out with some sort of new gizmo to iron our clothes.....damn what would we do with the coal heated iron we have now..???

I drink one cup of coffee a day. In the morning. I'm not particular. I think the wife buys Hill Brothers. Then they have these bags of ground coffee. Like Snickers. And Irish Cream. Those are pretty good.

Have never tried one. Maybe I should look into one.
It's definitely worth trying one before you buy. My order in a coffee shop is typically an extra-large, dark roast with an add shot of espresso and a half inch of steamed half & half. The Nespresso has a foamy head that eliminates the need for half & half depending on the pods you buy. I'm probably stuck with my Keurig for a while as it's the commercial version that I had in my office before retiring.

OK, I'm only going to say this once more, after this you couldn't get me to say it even by threatening me with a dose of caster oil!!!! I've tried just about everything out there that makes coffee, from pouring grounds right into the water of a boiling pot, to the high eng/high dollar machines, and never, not even once have I found anything to compare with the non-bitter, smooth tasting coffee made with a cold brew process. Because the grounds never see water temp higher than the cold temp faucet, you never taste even the least bit of bitterness and you'll never again have to throw out the remaining 2,3, or 4 cups left in the pot in the middle of the day.

One oz of cold brew concentrate in a cup, fill with cold tap water, nuke for about a minute, drink. Ease and convenience of instant with the flavor of fresh brewed. So, there you are. I've said it for the last time. You can't get me to ever say it again for anything. I mean not nothing! Absolutely nothing you can do to get me to say that again. In fact I'm going to the fridge right now and get me a cup of fresh, cold brewed coffee. Right now I'm telling you, right now. No dragging out the Mr. Coffee, the Kuerig, or any other. Just just @%$@*&)%^$$&^&(^)%$a$##%@$#!@!@@#$~!@!#$$^%(^)*&W$#@!@#@#! ;)
