It's called DYNAMO and apparently does what the state dept. is supposed to when it comes to evacuating US citizens. It's a disgrace that such a private group even has to exist. I don't read/watch Fox News and haven't for quite sometime but found this on another site.

Florida married couple returns home on evacuation flight from Israel: 'We had no way to get out'

Americans stranded in Israel flew into Tampa, Florida on evacuation flights on Sunday as Israel conducts its war with the Hamas terrorist group.

That's my governor. Florida has a substantial Jewish population as well, especially on the East Coast. I have two family members who belong to Christian groups that were scheduled to tour the Holy Land one week after this started. Had they gone a week earlier they would have been there when the attacks started.

USAF has resources and protocols for Noncombatant Evacuation Operations (NEO) that could move thousands on short notice. But then it takes competent leadership to mobilize them. Private entities can make decisons and move more quickly.

In this day and age it’s so damn sad that private entities have to act because our leaders are too scared or stupid. They can’t even govern themselves 🙄😡

And foreign leaders … CIA would be working overtime like the cold war spy days and Israel does to Iran and off people . Folks would just up and commit suicide like all of the Clinton friends do. 😉
 
and.... Florida sponsored flights and bring folks home are at NO COST to the person, whereas the feds make you sign an IOU of sorts promissory note that you will pay them back for the effort to come bring you home.
meanwhile the fed flies illegals all over the country in dead of night for FREE

I worked as a tech guy for Perot Systems(Plano, Texas) when Ross Perot Sr. owned the company for a couple of years. I spoke with Mr. Perot briefly a couple of times in the cafeteria.

It was a great place to work if you were a veteran like myself. Lots of tech guys didn't want to work there because of the dress code. I enjoyed it. I only left because I got a chance to run a martial arts school in another state(Arkansas).

Mr. Perot put a team together to rescue his workers back in the early 1980's (Wings of Eagles).
 
With the fighting in Israel, many cruise lines have stopped working in the Mediterranean as a precaution.
Royal Caribbean has repurposed one of their Cruise Liners in the area to evacuate Americans from Israel. No charge, accommodations and food included. The ship can hold 2400 passengers. They will be taken to Cyprus. If I understand correctly, they should be boarding now.
