So in the spring I had the chance to go Jeepin/rock crawling with some friends form church. (Father and son each have their own Jeeps.) It was awesome and something I could see me getting into. But unfortunately right now I don't have the money for a real Jeep and I am not mechanically inclined to make the upgrades/repairs that go with it.
But the son is also into RC rock crawlers. I have had the chance to check out a few of his ( I think he has like 10). He has some custom builds from scratch and some complete kits. They are Axial SCX24. (1/24 scale)
I came across a great deal on a used complete kit on one on Marketplace so I grabbed it. It's JLU.

Having a lot of fun already and of course have already starting making upgrades
