New love.....move over wife

You can buy some really nice metal Glock clone frames directly from the Matrix website. I'm on their mailing list because I've bought parts for an LR-308 build from them so they send me discount codes all the time for 10%-20% off Matrix products.

I'm not personally in the market for Glock builds but they do have some nice frames & slides.

I do have a few ar10 uppers, lowers and handguards from them. While not purchased from them the barrel nut included was armalite threads. Contacted them and they sent out what I needed.

Matrix has used the Armalite and DPMS pattern barrel nuts for their .308 receivers in the past. I found this out when I put mine together. I learned that if you're Matrix .308 upper receiver has a small circle with kind of an X shape pressed into it right behind the threads facing up, that model is the DPMS style from Matrix. You could also count the thread pitch.

Nice, If one is a fan of Glocks this should be on thier radar.

I'm not really into Glocks or Glock clones but I got a great deal on a few components so I gave it a shot.

I just completed a PSA Dagger which is a G19 clone. I bought the complete frame with a Sig Foxtrot weapon light brand new for $113.00 shipped and I just got the Dagger slide for $199.00 shipped. The slide was the driest thing I've ever seen so I intentionally over oiled it to get some of the oil soaked into the metal parts.

It has a really nice feel in the hands and the trigger is better than expected.

Meh... no, actually they are fine pistols, just do not like the feel of them in my hand. If I did I would probably own one. If I was looking for another striker I would give the Lone Wolf version a look.
If you can try a P80 from polymer 80, there based on the Gen3 G19, but there grip is different, you may like it, I like the under cut under the trigger guard myself, just an FYI here

Yep, I know when I drive past my shop, something always yanks my chain, guess I’m just weak……..😵‍💫😵‍💫
Lol, yeah I used to be the way, bought all sorts of CKnives, Cguns,, and Cwatches. Seemed like every one I would C, I would buy, especially when I was working tons of hours in DP. Got the bug a few years ago to start downsizing and now I decided I really have to justify purchases to myself.

They (matrix that is) put the wrong barrel nut with the handguard or just labeled the box wrong? When I ordered the handguard the description stated dpms. So as of right now I have collected 4 armalite barrel nuts.

When I bought my Matrix receiver set at a LGS I had to track down all the other parts to put it together and there wasn't much information out there on these receivers so I called Matrix directly and they were a huge help. The components needed to complete the Matrix rifle were a mix of DPMS and Armalite plus a proprietary screw for the bolt release which I couldn't track down. Matrix didn't have them in stock but they told me I could use a DPMS style screw and lightly grind a small amount of metal off for it to fit. I really like my Matrix .308 rifle but going forward I'm only building off of the Aero receivers for .308 & 6.5 creedmoor as the parts are way easier to source.

I have thinned out the herd a little this year. Really think before I purchase now. Hoping something new catches my eye at the shot show.
