yeah, this morning i had to make a run to the local walmart...my HP monitor was starting to give me the BSOD...(black screen of death)....so walmart only had thier brand, ONN, or Samsung, and Acer...

i had the ONN before, it is ok, but not enough adjustments....for contrast, brightness...my old eyes need to cut down on the contrast and brightness.

the Samsung was just too big for my desk...and i do like Samsung products, my tv is such.

the Acer was the right size, and surprisingly, not as expensive as an Acer product can be,,,

'bout $90 + the usual state with it's hand out gimme our taxes....

now i have been adjusting things to near perfect...

i cannot recall how long i had the HP monitor, i failed to put the date on it when i bought it, just seconds ago, i applied a label to this one.

cheap enough, some day, i'll need to get a laptop, for when i go for the NRA instructors course.......but that's a long time from now.

How in the world are you going to have time to instruct folks in between all those naps?

Take you like 8 sessions before they can shoot with all the nap breaks🤣🤣🤣🤣

that's my "master plan"...for the money i will charge for NRA instructions, they will be provided a blanky, a teddy bear, a carton of warmed milk, and a cup cake..then, we will all nap together......

you silly, you think i didn't have a ....."master plan"...?????

I remember one time we were playing a bar in Eureka and my guitard’s monitor caught fire right on stage. I have a wireless bass rig so I just walked over, unplugged it, picked it up and tossed it out the back door. We didn’t even stop playing. Hooked up a spare before the next song.

Yeah, I want to be in that course.

Day 1: Sleeping in a recliner with a loaded shotgun without shooting your foot off during a fever dream state.

Day 2: Sleeping with your eyes open.

Day 3: Acquiring your dot when the La-Z-Boy is all the way back.

Day 4: How not to mistake the drink holder from the holster.

Hopefully not Eureka, Kansas! We had horses there 1 summer for racing and it was horribly hot (98* @ 9:30am).

I emphasize with the "old eyes" issue. I strongly recommend wearing blue-blockers whenever you are on the computer (or smart phone). You will sleep better too (really!).
