That thing looks pretty awesome Tex...you got one? I've been hoping for years to see some schmuck on youtube smacking his chronograph triangle with a .30-cal bullet but the knuckleheads always edit that stuff out before posting their videos...;)

The red and black piece is the ma speed. The pic attachment to the mag speed is what MK Machining produced. Usually mag speed is attached by a strap to the barrel. If the Barre is tapered, then shimming will be needed so the pickup will be horizontal to the bore (about 1/8 to 1/4" lower to maintain a safe zone. It should be enough distance to pickup to speed and not get hit with the projectile.

With full knowledge that you may be sarcastic, Annihilator, it tells you how fast your boolats are flying. If this doo-hickey actually works I might look into it. I would never trust myself shooting through chronograph triangles at 7 yards like Paul Harrell...I'd hit the chronograph in 3 shots, guaranteed! Of course most guys want to know bullet speed at 7 yards, and this MK thing only gives you muzzle speed...but it's better than guessing. Consider it a nerd's tool for his toys. Something I might get :giggle:

I was being serious, not sarcastic, I truly have no ideal what the heck that was for, guess from now on I’ll just keep my questions to myself

7 yards is close enough for muzzle speed. Then again 5 and 10 is also. Those distances are so the muzzle gasses don't blow up or over the chrono. I would do the same as you getting guaranteed 3 shot hits. Probably my best groups?
