New S&W FPC now offered in 40 Caliber

I received an email from S&W about 2 weeks ago and again today announcing the new FPC (Folding Pistol Carbine) in 40 Caliber to go along with the 9mm FPC (one which I have). I didn't see this posted on the forum, so I figured I'd share this here. I wonder if they'll make it in 10mm next.

I’d trade my 9mm FPC for one.

I think .40 really gains out of a carbine.

I saw one of the 9’s the other day. I’m not into tacticool or the latest that the kewl kids have, but that is a slick little carbine

It is fun as all get out to shoot. However, you go through ammo like nothing.

Good, I like .40. More options the better.

I might have to peek at the FPC again. I held the 9mm in the store when it first came out but it just didn't seem to fit me right. I couldn't get my eye lined up with the sights unless I tilted my head way over. It wasn't comfortable.

I ended up buying the Ruger 9mm PC Carbine takedown but I really wanted it in .40 to pair it with an SR40 pistol. Unfortunately Ruger stopped making all .40 guns 2 months before I went looking and there were none to be had, at an affordable price. So maybe I'll take another peek at the FPC.
