New S&W SD9

TidalWave

Professional
Nothing crazy “new” to it, but the old excessive trigger is upgraded. I’m not certain about the springs everyone changes out though.
Some change to the slide serrations (the old ones were fine, to me). Retains a low price point, so a VERY good value, imho.

I have the sd40. I put apex trigger springs in it years ago.
It helped some but not much.
Trigger stills feels like an 80 pound pull instead of a 100.
Wow..
My Apex kit worked a miracle on mine - but included their improved trigger, too.
M-Carbo spring kit (no new trigger) worked like a champ on my other one. Still has that looong pull, but way smoother & faster. Both are 9s though.

I’m a huge SD fan.

Mines pretty old, they might have improved them since then.at one time it had the very worst trigger i ever had on any gun, but when i bought an older Ruger LC9 it went to second place. Now i will say it goes bang every time and fits the hand good. i felt like i was pulling the trigger through the magazine well it had to be pulled so hard and wouldn't go off until it touched the back of the trigger housing.

…yeah, seems I’ve heard similar situations some yrs back. Like maybe pre-2015 or 16? Or earlier. Makes me wonder if some Sigma stuff still in inventory got used up or some such…but I’m just speculating.
My first was 2018-19 and runs fine.
And yeah, it eats all kinda ammo :)

Another tidbit : comes with one mag.
I’ve always seen the others standard with 2 mags included…

Guess that partly explains the still-low price point.
