This, by the way, is basically the same pistol as your model 10.

Just 100 years older, give or take a few months.

(K-38 Military & Police 4”, 4th change; manufactured in late 1921-early 1922..grips are not correct).

It is a cupcake; but S&W refinished it…

In September of 1952 (when the put the new stocks/grips on it; I have since found a set of correct stocks).

It’s got the sweetest trigger outside of a classic Python I’ve felt, and is a complete tack driver.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use it as a carry pistol, if I had to.

I suspect your new one will be pretty dang nice as well.

Stock up on .38’s!
