Hello all, I'm new to the forum and new to the AR platform. I have a SA St. Victor pistol chambered in 5.56 and really like it. I would like to make it more versatile by using a CMMG Banshee 300 MkGs Upper Group Kit w/radial delayed blowback in 9mm and the 9mm AR Conversion Mags (30rds) with the St. Victor's lower. I have contacted CMMG and they said it will work fine as long as the lower is mil-spec. On the other end, I have contacted Springfield Armory with the same inquiry and have received no feedback as of yet (1 week). Sooooo, thought I would give the forum a try. What do you all think? Is the SA Saint Victor pistol lower mil-spec? Do you think mating the CMMG upper and the St. Victor lower a good idea? Really interested in your feedback. Thanks in advance.
