The weak teams in the east are doing exactly what they should be right now. Bowing out quickly.

Let's hope we can hold the momentum into the next round if we sweep, extended breaks can be such a double edged sword sometimes.

Only Florida really scares me at the moment. We've owned Boston all year, Hurricanes are a great team but over the last decade we've just had their number and seem to continue to do so.
 
Rangers took care of business. Carolina is looking good to close this one out tonight so we will get a 2nd round rematch from two seasons ago it appears. Gonna be a hell of a series.

Boston needs to finish off Toronto tonight. Boston is their kryptonite man it's so wild.

In the West, of course i'm pulling for the Stars. They came back to win two on the road to even things up with Vegas. First team to win at home is going to win this series imho.

Preds get finished off tonight in Vancouver I think. That last game was an absolute demoralizer.

Colorado is going to win this series I think, but not tonight. I got Winnipeg taking game 5 tonight. They got some fight left still.

It looked that way for a bit.what an exciting game.

The Rangers are just a better team in Beast Mode.
It’s been a fun season to watch.

Well my Canes are gone, then Rangers would have been my next choice. Now that they have been sent home by the Panthers I’m gonna have to stick with the East Coast and The Panthers.
Should be a great fight for the Stanley Cup.

I have been firmly in the Anyone but the Panthers crowd since the beginning of the playoffs. I can’t cheer for Matthew Tkachuk.

Tkachuk is a punk no question but I can't root for a Canadian team. I like the fact Canada has not seen a cup since the 92'-93' season. So Panthers it is, plus I'd rather see a franchise win their first cup. The better team won in that FLA-NYR series.

The Rangers did exactly what they did 2 years ago. Made the ECF, took a series lead, and then just absolutely rolled over and died. Our cup window with this core is closed. They have shown they do not have what it takes to win in the playoffs. They cannot go all the way. The priority now is not to do to Shesterkin what we did to Lundqvist, and waste a superstar goaltender's career with no cup to show for it because we couldn't find the final pieces to get us over the hump.

Shesterkin, Trocheck, and Lafreniere were the only ones who showed up every single night and made an impact. This loss was really tough and i'm still struggling with it to be honest. Another playoff disappearance from Panarin, Zibanejad, Fox (playing hurt, which hurt us), And for the most part Kreider too. I won't get into the defensive core, but holy **** Trouba was literally missing a chunk of his ankle. Why are you dressing him when we have two healthy defensemen on the bench. Ugh. So much dumb ****. Ok rant over. Sports is dead until September again.
 
Coming from the Boston area i'm a Bruins fan! Those were the days. Seemed like every high school had a hockey team. Now here in the southwest nobody seems to know about hockey.
