I wonder if secret service agents are subject to the same kind of scrutiny when they shoot at a thug that us average people are.

The fact that he didn't know if anyone was hit indicates that he fired at the thief at some point after the thief fled because otherwise it would have been a shootout right ? You know if any normal citizen did this they would be going to jail.

Details are scant, but this doesn't appear to be a justified shots fired event for the agent. Shooting at fleeing thieves? One of us had better not try it. . .

Yes, details are scant. For example, why Tustin? Was he RON there? The MCAS has been closed. In a residential area on his way to work. Don't off duty agents spend the night in lodging near the principal? The amount of vague info suggests things are not on the up and up.

i don't know what to say or ask, ....but,

wasn't he trained in "situational awareness"?

was he sober?

was he a "newbie"?

was he wearing his dark aviator sunglasses at night?

i dunno.....but with Brandon tripping, or wandering off at times, that agent hasn't got much to protect anyways.
