NSSF: January 2021 Gun Sales up 75% from Last Year

Thanks for the link, Anni.

I know the huge numbers from 2020 and now starting out even stronger in 2021 is upsetting to some folks as outlined in the article. I hope 2021 keeps up the pace and ends up 75% over 2020. I also hope the first time owners will learn to use their new weapon safely and proficiently. Besides the manufacturers, these numbers are also good for folks who do training. As for me, I don't see any downside. :)

Double thumbs up! :)

“As the country reels from multiple crises, the gun industry has cashed in with record sales that have made Americans less safe,” said Nick Suplina, managing director of law and policy at Everytown for Gun Safety.“Without swift changes in policy, our already devastating gun violence epidemic could get even deadlier. The good news, though, is that we finally have leaders in the White House and in both chambers of Congress who recognize that this crisis demands action.”

This ridiculous logic completely turns a blind eye to the fact that the American people clearly feel differently. Instead they alienate millions of voters by basically accusing them of being a threat to their communities rather than educated firearms owners who will get training and be a boon to the community. Joe’s going to have a hard time keeping that majority with thinking like that.
