This TLAM and Rhino blitz against targets ashore in Houthiland comes two days after what has been described as a “Convoy Battle” that saw the Iranian-backed rebels launch a “complex attack” that included 18 one-way attack drones (OWA UAVs), two anti-ship cruise missiles, and one anti-ship ballistic missile shot down by the Ike’s combined carrier group and the Royal Navy’s HMS Diamond (D34).

Approximately $7 billion of military equipment the US transferred to the Afghan government over the course of 16 years was left behind in Afghanistan by the current administration.

Ward Carroll's update on the strikes. Apparently the trigger point was attacks against US warships, and from other accounts I've read, attacks against US flagged shipping rather than foreign cargo vessels.

Speaking to our enemies in a system of communication they understand. Brandon is patting himself on the back. I wonder if anyone in DoD told him what they were going to do?

Is this your first foreign war? The military always leavs behind things that aren't worth bringing back.

There were zero Apaches left behind; and all aircraft left were made inoperable
Only at Kabul.

There were operational aircraft at other bases that didn't fly out of country by escaping Afghan military.

The Taliban also got some UH-60As.
