Outdoor Kitchen Must-Haves?

I'm contemplating having an outdoor kitchen installed.

I have limited space, but enough for a decent setup I believe.

For those who have experienced grills for outdoor kitchen what are some "must-haves" in your opinion? I know this is a personal thing, but hoping to get some ideas from fellow brethren.

Thanks!

There are some charcoal fed grills. I don't believe it was for storage? My local hardware store sells them. If you're wanting to install instead of movable just keep the legs off. As far as brand I can't say for sure. Will this be under cover or open? Going under a roof or extension of the house a vent would be advisable, so not to smoke you out. Maybe a mini fridge and extra storage for whatnots (cleaning supplies and etc). Wood might not be a good idea?

Roach Pruf isn’t enough…might need some Bear Prufe or maybe some Mooch Pruf ? : )

Plumbing, sink if you can, a location off the deck next to the inside kitchen, a canopy, prep and counter space with adequate moving around space proportionate to your allowable dimensions, but this all seems quite elaborate depending on limited space and usage. Making it permanent of semi-permanent sounds like your plan. Whatever the location, plan on a foot traffic layout like to/from kitchen, guests entry and access to off site storage areas and of course sudden weather changes evac.

Grill choices, can’t beat charcoal or wood/pellet with adequate burner surface if expecting crowds, too often undersizing is a drag. The finally, the utmost most important component would be a good cook. For me that would preferably be the blue eyed blonde variety…ponytail optional !

Good luck!
