Target #4 first 5 shot, 120 shots later my shoulder started to get sore so I had some fliers high left.
Overall a good day and I had a blast shooting that rifle.
I had about 15 rounds left and tried doing rapid fire without aiming at a target, 5 rounds standing but my (support) left arm was just too tired and sore, 10 rounds on bench, I can’t imagine shooting that gun full auto.
The gun, all 130 rounds shot.
No failure to feed.
No failure to eject.
No failure to fire.
That M1A is a beast.

Nice shootin there goose, I would love a range like that, glad you got out and enjoyed yourself

Looks like a nice day. Good way to spend a Saturday.
To shoot at my county outdoor rifle range one has to have a valid hunting license. I do no hunt but may get my license to go to there. I’d like to get my .22’s out beyond the 40 yards at my indoor range. I also have a Winchester 54 that i’d like to try out to 100.

Right on Keystone! Glad to hear and see about your range time! Looks like a fun and awesome day with your M1-A! I love to hear about how much other people love to shoot their M1-A because I know exactly how they feel. So there is a "show off your AR" thread on this forum. Is there a "show of your M-1A" thread? Being a SA forum there should be! I was in pretty good with the Gunners Mates on my ships in the Navy. I was fortunate enough to be allowed to fire the M14 while at sea often! Unless you've done it your self. I can't describe it! It's a pretty awesome experience to say the least! Once again. Glad to hear you got to go fire your weapon!

uhhh........yeah, but, i live in New England.

we are still having 35 to 45 degree nights.....and have to have the heat on, and many mornings no more than low 50's......and having to drive with the heater on.. the "gas man" is very happy we are still turning on our heat.
I get it. I used to live in Upstate New York.

Used too.

I won’t be long before it’s too hot to shoot outdoors here!
