parts organizer for cheap

Old_Me

SAINT
i had to go to Lowes for a family member, and while there, i was going to look for maybe a tool chest for my bottom cabinet, to store some "spare parts" for some of my guns, well i passed by a Craftsman parts organizer, and for under $30, i thought why not.

i got it that upper right corner, a lot of Glock spare parts, mostly the slide release levers, and pins, and trigger connectors.

then i have like 3 tiny nags of those Challis 1911 rubber grips, then a box of Beretta screws, and some CZ parts, some Canik parts. and a 1911 bushing tool(driver)

i had been keeping those parts in my gun cleaning tote bag, and running out of room for that.

i ain't about to label anything, knowing me, i'll rearrange things when i get bored.

the individual boxes come out, but i don't wanna end up trying to figure out a Rubrics(sp?) cube either getting them all back in....

That is a great idea. It beats having everything in the bottom of a toolbox or a drawer, and if you're going to store parts haphazardly you better have a memory like an elephant. It's nothing worse than coming across parts and not being able to remember what they are for. Don't ask how I know this. I have a few organizers from this company:

in that link, i actually have the Plano organizer, where i have a stock of rubber grommets.

yeah, i had all my spare parts strew about the basement, in different containers, and especially in my gun cleaning tote bag, which has pockets, but soon space becomes scarce. i have all my extra 1911 mags in a plastic container i got from wally's world emporium as well. at least now the new/or replaced parts are in one location, and for cheap.

glad i had to go to Lowes for that family member today.
