PC9104CC in a Light Weight?

SA made a alumium receivered full-sized a long-time ago, but if SA doesn't have it on their website right now then it's not available.

But another manufacturer may have what you're looking for.

That's a full-custom gun.

Contact their custom shop, they’ll work with you.

But in that price range? There's a ton of options from the top-tier boys; Wilson, Nighthawk, etc...

I actually have several from top-tier sources that shamefully mostly reside in the back of a safe. What I was thinking is I really like the SAs I actually carry and shoot on a regular basis so why not have a SA 1911? Given my preference for a concealed carry, CQC type of pistol, this gun sort of stood out.

I do believe that even less expensive 1911s are well worth owning, the more expensive ones do have some features that are very desirable if the cost differences aren't a barrier. There is a nationally recognized gunsmith buying RIA 1911s wholesale and working his magic on them and selling them for far less than Wilson, Bauer, et al and is turning out pieces often carried by many federal agents whose own agencies aren't issuing 1911s.

On the other hand, many people buy Ruger 10/22s and spend several years and lots of money trying to turn them into a copy of the Volquartsen version of the gun. To me this makes no sense.
