Picked this up for when I’m home recovering from my surgery, Microsoft Xbox X console. I haven’t played video games for years. I remember my first game console, Atari 2600, then NES, then Super NES, went to Sega after it with the Genesis, then Saturn, then moved on to Playstation, several variants, then ended up with the Xbox 360, that was the last console and video game system I played, many years ago till today. Need something to do instead of just sitting or laying…..😬😬

You've just planted a seed, Anni. I've purposely stayed away from video games for a long time now, because I know I'll get totally sucked into them and it will become a huge time suck. But I'm having surgery next week, and that seems like the perfect excuse....
 
I bought a Nintendo Switch last year to get back into casual gaming and I love that little system for its portability and the ability to play past generations video games with the emulators it has built in. We have three Xbox consoles in the house and I used to play Battlefield 3 a lot but online gaming started changing into a pay to win system and the experience was ruined for me.

Hey @Annihilator you're probably going to be totally disappointed to find out there is no such thing as Yeet Cannon simulator the game.
 
I got an XBox for my birthday, which naturally meant I needed a new TV. I’ve been lost in Starfield and CyberPunk 2077 since! Probably going to pick up Forza which means I’ll need new steering wheel, pedal, etc. because my old ones are PlayStation compatible.

I’m on XBOX SERIES X . I picked one up during the pandemic. I too had gone many years without messing with them. I think Nintendo 64 James Bond back in college maybe was the last time I played.
Call of Duty is addictive .

Ok, I also got the Game Pass for 3 months, was going through all the games and lo and behold, Quake II….going to download it, first shooter game I played, modded and ran a server for my ISP many moons ago. My tag name is……wait for it…Glockman1960
