Magpul continues to innovate and create magazine solutions. Today, they have a new mag in the lineup: the new PMAG 20 LR/SR GEN M3 Window.

NOTE: the "25's" have been out with a window for awhile.

Only 7.62 PMAG in my collection is a ten round shorty. I divested myself of ALL my 20 round models because if you load them full and put the cover on it, and put it up, the follower spring is under so much tension that it spreads the feed lips apart and makes the magazine malfunction.

I emailed MAGPUL about the issue, but my response from them was crickets....

So, now I use Lancer Hybrid 20, and 25 round models, as well as Brownells aluminum 20 rounders when I can find them, and last in the line up are the steel body models.

Now i will agree their CS is kinda sketchy, not horrible but not great. i bought three of their 60 round AR drums. which was a big mistake. for one they are a PITA to load. one of them broke and i e mailed them and just got a message back to send it in, nothing more.

well forget that, they sent no shipping label or anything. so i took it apart to see what broke and a flimsy plastic piece they use inside did. I emailed them back with a pic of the piece and said i can put it in and here's what broke. never got a response back. about a month later one of the other ones broke, i never took it apart but sure it was the same piece. throwed the broken ones in a box in the attic and haven't used the other one yet as it will probably break too. i've used my other drums. people down pro mag but their drums are better than magpuls. or at least they haven't broke.

Magpul has gotten too big for it's britches, but with all that said they do make good products. I've never had a problem out of anything else they make i bought. but latest mag purchases have been from other makers. haven't bought a PMAG in a while.
