POF fires back in the "Smaller" .308 market

While I disagree on the FirearmsNews article authors' claim that this is a .308 AR-15, folks shouldn't get confused in that this new rifle is a standard AR-15 since it still has/requires .308 design features.

But POF has done a great job in producing a lightweight .308 platform. Just wish it was also offered with a longer barrel. But the Revolution model does with a 1 lb. heavier weight.

Agreed. My Sig Cross .308 is 6.5# dry, and definitely has some kick to it.

I have not researched it enough but can’t help wonder, if there are any proprietary parts or off spec parts similar to what colt did to their ar sporter rifles back in the day?
I’ll stick to my saint and aero.

My Sig 716I is 8lbs, and hundreds of dollars less, I will keep mine, A little exercise and carrying will make mine feel like 6 lbs.
