poker shooting?

at the club meeting, the former president who runs the shooting team, said they are working out poker shooting with 45 ACP

i might get into that, for at least one time.

he is going to try to get up other shooting contests.

normally i am not into contests or competitions, but i did win 2 years in a row, the christmas contest at the public range

anyone here have anything like this poker shoot..???

We used to have run and gun shoots with full autos when i was younger. i don't know if they still do that here or not.

yeah, i don;t know if it'll be individual cards on a rack to shoot at, or a poster of a deck of cards.

the gun team leader didn't get into specifics, other than "best hand wins the money"

my best guess, is a poster type of card deck.

i was just wondering if any one here has participated in something like this

as it is now, he runs a pellet gun shooting contest, where they stack up EMPTY shotgun shells, and only i think he said 3 shots to knock them all down.

personally, i think he's secretly recruiting for the shooting team..... :LOL:
 
Hi,

I've taken part in a bowling pin shoot. It was a double elimination tournament and was a ton of fun, shooting real bowling pins. I think I wrote up a range report around here somewhere. My range has poker shoots too, but I haven't entered. Go for it! :D
