Maybe, but the mod who is hiding behind his screen is the one who started it by deleting a post that violated nothing while invoking a "rule" that didn't apply. The spirit is to allow free speech in my opinion. If the mod who deleted this wants to publicly come out and explain himself like a big boy, I can take the rebuke. Cowardly deleting is not OK in my book.
My reply to your statement isn't meant to be confrontational but the terms and rules tab at the bottom of the page is pretty clear on political posts.

This forum is meant to be a welcoming place for everyone in the 2A community and bringing politics to the forum other than those related to 2A topics only divides the membership and will make this forum not as welcoming as it is now. There's thousands of forums online that are dedicated to a particular topic just like we are when it comes to firearms and 2A.

Here is a couple paragraphs from the terms in rules that go into more detail on political posts.

“No hate speech, bullying (or comments regarding race, religion of sexual preference/identity) or memes towards any candidate or person will be tolerated. (i.e. No Hitler, Killary Hillary, etc.)."

“No political post or topics on the main forum. The “Armed with Knowledge” section will be the only place where this is allowed. No promotion of candidates or advocacy posts. Limit political post to firearms- and firearms rights-related topics only. Please report/flag any inappropriate content you may see in other posts as well"

Fair enough, but then these rules need to go: https://www.thearmorylife.com/forum/threads/the-lounge-rules.2868/
Not arguing either, trying to remove unintentional loopholes :)
