Political spam

Does anyone else get these on your cell phones? This is what I received today and I responded, then I actually got a reply. I thought I might, but was unsure if I would? I get these and most don't even have a correct name let alone my name.

These that have names attached to the text and it having your name in it would beg a question or more. Is it illegally obtained? Are these 3rd party servers that you HAVE to agree to in order to use your phone being used for part of this purpose? This phone number is not a published number, nor have I ever called their number for them too have it. Even as a wrong number dialed.

I delete every number I don't know, and message I don't recognize.

I do the same thing. Delete and or block! I was going to give a graphic reply, but decided otherwise.

I also don't open any I don't know! Email type goes straight to trash and block when possible.

When online checking email I cursor almost every "From" title even though the Name looks normal. The pop-up then tells me the "real" address of the sender.

Lots' of normal names/Titles have addresses that are from crap/spoof/malware sites. Those are reported as phishing and/or blocked.

I get similar text messages, about 6 a month, I block the number and then delete the message without viewing it.

I block my sister, her pos husband and her kids and grandkid. They're all alike and I have no use to consort with them! All of the other spam is of little concern. If you block and them delete, does it still block? I've seen spam numbers go from (lets say) 5 to 6 on last digit. They'll just use the next number in sequence.

That proves it’s computer generated and is just waiting for an unsuspecting person to click on the wrong thing in the text and then it would download malware.

I’m sure they have lots of spoofed numbers at their disposal.

To me it seems that the older one is the spam calls get more personal. More often there is a live person on the other end that knows your name instead of the usual rebo call. I usually don't answer calls from names and numbers that I'm not familiar with. I figure if they have something that I need to hear they came leave a message.
