Some interesting articles I came across regarding Civilian Body Armor, Head Protection (non Ballistic), and Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK).

Good links grasshopper, but with my hyper-alloy combat chassis, I would have no use for them.......😬

I went the Amazon route and ord'd an IFAK pouch (Orca brand), and outfitted it myself to deal with firearm-related "mishaps". The pouch from Amazon was $18.99 when I bought it in March 2019. Just checked and the same pouch (Orca) is now $21.99 . The basic stuff (4"x4" gauze, roll gauze, antiseptic spray, bandaids, etc) I purchased at the local Walgreen's. Chest seals, Israeli bandages, Clotting bandage, Swat-T tourniquets, Shears, etc, I got from Amazon. Turned-out to be slightly pricey going that route, but I got it the way I wanted. I have no need for Dramamine tablets, and other less-needed (imo) items that come with the store-bought kits. I recently bought 3 North American Rescue CAT tournequets, and attached one to the Orca IFAK pouch, placed one in the other vehicle, and the third one in an off-body CC sling bag.

I bought an Actual standard-issue IFAK and field surgical kit from my local surplus store for around 50 bucks. I carry it in my saddlebags on the motorcycle. I also have about half a dozen tampons in my vest. Habit from when I was in the service and when prospecting to become a member of my MC. They come in handy to plug bullet wounds.

I bought my Ankle IFAK from Every Day Ready ATS (Active Threat Solutions). Had most every thing I needed for Critical wound treatment. I bought a few more tourniquets and a seat belt/clothes cutter which I was able to squeeze all in. Pretty nice set up for the range etc. Thinking of getting some thing I can leave in my truck (I currently have a few in my Bug out bags).
