EL LOBO

Custom
The SLx optics are the heart of our lineup. The trusted optics that have built our reputation through the years. Although many SLx optics will be familiar to Primary Arms fans, we are always pushing forward with new generations and adding even more options in response to the demands of our loyal customers.

The Primary Arms 4-14x44mm illuminated rifle scope was our first step into the first focal plane (FFP) optics and remains one of the most cost-effective options on the market. Having a reticle stay 'true' through the entire magnification range opens a world of possibility for hunters, marksman, and competitors everywhere. Add in "built like a tank" construction and a 3-year warranty, and it's easy to see why this scope is so popular.

Features:
  • ACSS HUD DMR .308 Reticle offers a host of great features in a clean intuitive design tuned for .308 Winchester
  • Compatible with some .223 Remington loads
  • First Focal Plane reticle stays true at all magnifications
  • 6-illumination settings powered by a common CR2032 battery
  • High strength aircraft-grade aluminum body
  • Side-adjustable parallax and fast-focus eyepiece for a crisp view of the target and reticle
  • 30mm main tube compatible with your favorite rings and mounts
  • Tactile and audible 1/10 MIL windage and elevation adjustments
  • Exposed tactical-style turrets with Zero-Reset
  • Shockproof, waterproof, and fog-resistant
  • Parallax adjusts from 15 yards to infinity!
  • Excellent glass clarity

At the heart of the 4-14x44mm rifle scope is our advanced first focal plane ACSS HUD DMR .308 reticle. Tuned specifically for popular .308 Winchester loads, the ACSS HUD DMR .308 reticle offers a remarkable number of advanced features in a clean and intuitive design. Leads for moving targets out to a full 600 yards, wind leads, ranging, and bullet drop out to 1,000 yards, and even a MIL-ranging system are built into the clean design. An illuminated horseshoe and center chevron allow for remarkably fast engagement of close-in targets. At any range, hits are intuitive without any need for math or digging through data books! Simply range, hold, and break the shot!

A scope that won’t hold up to real-world use won’t do any good, so we built our 4-14x44mm FFP tactical rifle scope to last with a heavy-duty aircraft-grade 6063 aluminum body and 30mm main tube. Waterproof, shockproof, and fog-resistant, this scope is perfectly at home on an AR-15 or your favorite hunting rifle. Even better, the MIL/MIL turrets track correctly through their full 17.5 MIL adjustment range, allowing for confident adjustments for shooters who prefer to count their clicks. With clear glass, heavy-duty construction, and a true first focal plane reticle that can be leveraged at every magnification, the 4-14x44mm rifle scope from Primary Arms offers shooters a versatile and effective rifle scope, covered by our 3-year warranty!

Note: While the ACSS HUD DMR .308 reticle is compatible with some .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO loadings 55 Grain & 62 Grain, we recommend the dedicated ACSS-HUD-DMR-5.56 model for guns chambered in these calibers. I have had this scope for a few years now and have had good results on my AR-10 , AR-15 , .223 & .308 Bolt Rifles it's well worth the price and I recommend it .

I was given that tip by an apprentice Gunsmith. Primary Arms are comparable to scopes that cost significantly more (as in most cases you're paying for their names).

I just purchased this scope for my RPR .308. Did you eventually purchase it?
If so, what are your thoughts? Lots of people like to bash this scope as Chinesium crap, but I doubt that's the case and some users may just be uppity and not willing to learn all the information this scope provides. I'll update with my thoughts. If anything this may be a great budget option for my SOCOM16. MTF.

As with any scope purchase you need too know all info or your just wasting money! There is a lot of info in those scopes for sure! I've been seesawing about these scopes.

You know it would be nice to see a lower powered optic with a similar reticle (1-8). I recently spoke to a well known company asking if they would replace mine. The reply was, "we have been getting a lot of requests for that but we wont do it." Go figure, if you have the demand why dont you listen to your customers?
